Yosemite National Park is one of my favored places. Yosemite lies in the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountain chain. Yosemite is know world wide for its magnificent granite cliffs, waterfalls, and Giant Sequoia groves. The valley was mainly formed by glaciers. Some of the popular spots are El Capitan, Sentinel Rock, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, Ribbon Falls, Bridalveil Fall, Vernal Fall, Silver Apron, Nevada Fall, Illilouette Fall, Dana Meadows, Tuolumne Grove, Mariposa Grove, Merced Grove, Tuolumne River, Merced River, Kuna Crest, Cathedral Range, Clark Range, and Tuolumne Meadows.
